“Emily baked us the most amazing cake for our wedding, It completely blew me away when I saw it, but it didn’t just look incredible, it was also absolutely delicious. Several people have told us it was the best cake they have ever tasted – particularly the carrot and walnut layer.
We decided at quite short notice that we needed a wedding cake but Emily was totally unflappable and helped us to decide what flavours and decoration to go for. We would advise anybody looking for a wedding cake to get in touch- there aren’t really the words to describe how happy we were with ours.

“I was sure I wanted a naked cake and Victoria sponges are my absolute favourite so we went for a strawberry and vanilla sponge and a lemon and blueberry sponge. We also has a gluten-free chocolate cake & mini vegan Victoria sponge cakes. Emily has her own garden and decorated the cakes with flowers and fruit, which looked amazing. The cakes tasted delicious and all our guests commented on them.”

“Emily was amazing, it was really important to me to have locally sourced, organic ingredients so I was so happy to find her. Being gluten intolerant, I was worried that would put Emily off but she not only wasn’t phased by it, she created gorgeous dairy free cakes for my lactose free guests which were equally exquisite!
Emily decorated the cake beautifully, it fit perfectly with the rest of our wedding design and it was completely delicious. Many guests commented how lovely it was before we’d even cut it and everyone agreed it tasted incredible.
Emily was a joy the whole way through and I would absolutely recommend her!

The attention to detail was immaculate and matched our brief perfectly. The selection of yummy summer fruits and the beautiful apricot organic flowers looked beautiful and so many people commented on it with glowing appraisal.
My personal favourite was the lemon polenta cakes with rose water icing and pistachio nuts, it was so moist and kept fresh for such a long time. Mostly, thank you for how kind and gracious you were and how understanding of any little changes along the way.

“Huge thank you for your amazing cake. It looked stunning, and tasted so delicious! As soon as I arrived at the farm, friends were asking me if I had seen the cake yet, and saying how gorgeous it was. And in the evening at least half a dozen people asked me if I’d had a taste and offered to fetch me a slice. So it is safe to say it was very popular! In fact I think there was hardly anything left the next day.

The tasting session at Emily’s house was one of the best experiences we had during the wedding planning, it was really special to see where she makes the cakes and her home-grown flowers that she uses to decorate them. Emily also has a fantastic talent for styling and made our dessert table look absolutely perfect, it looked like it was straight from a wedding magazine. Emily is so calm, friendly and accommodating – she organised everything for us from delivery to picking her things up the day after the wedding, so everything ran like clockwork. OTHER WORK
‘Emily created the most beautiful variety of food for our daughter, Miranda’s wedding. The dishes Emily made were inspired: particularly the blueberry and lemon cheesecakes with borage flowers and the giant pyramid of chocolate brownies. It certainly looked sumptuous and tasted delicious. We were very pleased to overhear someone say ‘ This is the best wedding food ever.’
